In the same ways mining, soy, pork and beef industries incentivize them to deforest, countries could pay a “clean air” tax as a % of GDP to Brazil to preserve their natural resources. Brazilian people deserve progress, development, quality of life and access to an optimistic future – the money to do this has to come from somewhere.
