Christmas Fa la la la Llama shirt suffered from depression and anxiety since I was small, back to when I can remember about age 5. I’m 48 now. Back then no one spoke of such things, I self-medicated for many years starting about age 12. I was very good at hiding it and masking my feelings, still am. I now take antidepressants and anti-anxiety medication major side effect for me is weight gain which doesn’t help the depression. My mom was severely bipolar and attempted suicide numerous times, being an only child I was responsible for taking care of her and cleaning up her messes when she was unable to.
