Is this Jolly enough Grumpy Dwarf shirt for once doesn’t care. Smaller venues are a much better experience. I also find that rock music is more fragmented than pop, with a huge variety of sub-genres and creative outlets that makes it harder for a single act to gain enough traction to fill stadiums for a tour. Pop, on the other hand, manufactures a handful of generic acts that then mass markets. Hardly anyone makes it as a pop star but I know lots of people in rock bands with moderate degrees of success (not all strictly rock but in independent musical ventures) or in it just for the fun. I think this is a good thing for music.
