To all my LGBT friends, you don’t need approval from anyone but your damn self. We need to LGBT I am who I am your approval isn’t needed shirt. Laverne Cox’s struggle may look different than mine, but the pain we feel is the same. Including “born in the wrong body” indoctrinators of gender-non-conforming children in Gay and Lesbian rights conversations is not any better than including other types of conversion therapists.
