These stories hurt my heart so bad. Santa Claus is this Jolly enough shirt. Such a safe bubble most of us live in. These stories are showing us what happens when you go with the flow and try not to stand out, just so we can fit in. The world needs more holy god priests like Father Celestin. May he be an example for others and may he one day be canonized for his works of mercy. One of the craziest things is seeing how young these people are. Often when my generation hears of genocide, I think we think of an older generation, the era. It’s shocking that such an event occurred just a few years before my birth, not that far in the distance.
