Japan is a place of great contradiction. Supposed caring of nature but hunting whales. Being progressive but still oppressing women. Being warm caring but abandoning their older people, mentally ill and differently able people (I contest the label of ‘warm’). Being progressive but forcing homogeneity even to the point.
