In the 1950s, for example, you wouldn’t have access to salt and sugar-laden food or have fast food on every corner. The world has changed but obviously, the knowledge and ability to educate hasn’t kept up with the pace of the changes. That’s slowly starting to change but in the meantime, there is still a major issue to deal with and by reducing diabetes numbers it will save the NHS more money then these meals would cost them.
