But you can apply same tactics if you go retail shopping by first checking the prices a month or so in advance and then compare with the Black Friday deals when you are in the shop itself. I don’t think it’s ever been claimed that the deals on Black Friday are the cheapest of the year? The silly assumption by people. But it is not just Black Friday that does this, one shop I have noticed recently trainers are more in the sale than they normally are!
